ULTRA ACTIVE TECHNOLOGY LIMITED

Established in 1989, Ultra Active Technology Limited ('UAT^®') was formerly running under the name of Oasis Systems ('OASIS') primarily specializing in software development serving the professional accounting bodies: Hong Kong Institute of Certified PUblic Accountants, HKICPA, and Hong Kong Association of Accounting Technicians.

The founders felt that the software industry was deficient in providing good quality software application to the user companies in real world. Either the software was designed in programmer way twisting the businessmen to function in computer way, or the design is so restrictive that there was no room for future modification. Worst of all, the hidden complications of IT procedures caused frustration to average users. To overcome the general drawbacks in the software industry, the founders took two years to develop the 'oasis library' which could generalize most of the business functions and support mutiple user roles and multi languages. Every project was named Oasis Project and the suceess of the projects has accumulated the valuable business models. The professionalism and the serious attitude towards the business processes naturally has made the founders collectively name the projects and solutions 'Finance and Logistics Profession', FLP^® in short.

The founders of FLP^® were Mr Sultan Rehman and Mr Tony Cheung. Mr Sultan Rehman is a world famous programmer, multiple patents holder and co-author of 'XML' Microsoft Press. Mr Tony Cheung is a Certified Public Accountant and prviously worked as Financial Director, International Operations, of Associated Merchandising Corporation with worldwide buying offices for department stores in different continents.

The quick business expansion allowed the company to have vertical expansion of business and UAT^® was therefore formed to engage in IT network and hardware. In 1997, UAT^® and OASIS were merged for centralization of operations under one name UAT^® to provide all coverage of services to our customers.
